Antonia "Toni" SCIME

Antonia Scime, 90, passed away on February 13, 2026. Born on June 28, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan, she graduated from St. Alphonsus High School in Dearborn, Michigan, and later from Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She met and married Dr. Ignatius Scime in 1958 and moved to Hamilton, Ontario. Toni was a devoted wife and mother, building a life centered on family, resilience, and quiet strength. She was a committed volunteer and taught nursing classes at the Red Cross. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Ignatius Scime, who passed away in 2024, Toni is survived by her son, Anthony Scime; daughter, Dr. Lori Scime; granddaughter, Rebecca Felts; and great-granddaughters, Valerie and Sloane Felts. A visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home in Hamilton on February 19, 2026, followed by a funeral mass at St. Margaret Mary Parish and entombment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
