Takeo Sakuma

Takeo Sakuma, born on January 18, 1943, passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 83. He is survived by his spouse, Katia, and his daughters, Erica and Sarah. Takeo was also predeceased by his parents, Shinya Sakuma and Katsu Sakuma. A memorial service will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home in Richmond Hill on Sunday, August 16th, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a reception from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Toronto Japanese Garden Club would be appreciated, and can be made by e-transfer or by mailing a cheque to 2 Brookwood Dr, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1E8. Donation cards will also be available at the funeral home.
