CRYSTAL GAY MAGEE

Crystal Gay Magee passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 85, in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Born on March 6, 1941, in St. Thomas, Ontario, Crystal spent the majority of her childhood and adult years in the community where she grew up. She is now peacefully reunited with her beloved husband, Douglas Magee, who predeceased her in 2007; her parents, George Matthew 'Hugh' and Jean Alice (Paine) Tales; and her siblings, William Hugh 'Bill' Tales and Elizabeth 'Betty' (Tales) Giles. Crystal is survived by her three children, Edward and his wife, Elaine, Brian and his girlfriend, Farima Azimi, and Michelle Bodley. She was a proud and devoted grandmother who will be forever cherished by her grandchildren, William (Liam), Brennah, Natasha, and Jordan Bodley. Crystal is also survived by her dear sister, Jeannie Suitor, as well as her loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service to honor Crystal's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Richmond Hill United Church. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
