Chris Rapos

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris Rapos of Richmond Hill, Ontario. Chris was born on December 25, 1940, and he passed away on October 10, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol, and his children, Jamie (Susie) and Elaine (Jason). Chris was a proud grandfather to Christopher, Sophia, Andrew, and Christian. He was also cherished by his parents, Magda and Blage, his parents-in-law, Dorothy and Jim, and his siblings, Bill, Jerry, Tony, and Frosa. Visitation took place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Centre, located at 50 Overlea Blvd, East York, ON M4H1B6. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, situated at 76 Overlea Blvd, East York, ON M4H1C5. Following the service, a burial took place on the same day from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Elgin Mills Cemetery, located at 1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill, ON L4S1M9. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada and/or the Hospital for Sick Kids.
