John McLean Hicks

John McLean Hicks of Renfrew, Ontario, passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born on August 20, 1946. John was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elisa (Lisa Shields), as well as his parents, Lionel and Lillian Hicks, and his in-laws, Homer and Marion Shields (Hilliard). He is survived by his children, Kathy Holmes (Hicks) and Peter Hicks, along with his grandsons, Josh, Max Holmes, Allan John, Ben, Sam, Lucas, and Daniel Hicks. John is also remembered by his siblings, Janice, James (Dawn), Wesley (Kim), and Lionel (Liz), and his sister-in-law, Marg Isbester (Mac).
