Dorothy Aileen Roach

The family announces the passing of Dorothy Aileen Roach of Renfrew, Ontario, on October 7, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on May 5, 1936, Dorothy was deeply connected to her family and friends throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents, Lucy (Lepack) and Albert Chapeski; her husband, Raymond Roach; and her siblings, Anna (Gerald Kluke), Joseph (Kay), Ambrose (Margarite), Frank (Harriet), Leonard (Shirley), James, Hubert, Catherine, Agnes, Eve, Rose, and Adam. Dorothy is survived by her children, Debbie (Bob Moran), Edward, and Joseph; her grandchildren, Alex (Connor Lalonde), Courtney (Evan Gillan), Haley, and Jonathan; her great-grandchild, Parker Lalonde; and her sister, Margaret (Alex Gavinski). A funeral Mass was held on October 16, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Church, followed by burial at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Golden Age Activity Centre, Renfrew and Area Seniors Home Support, or The Dementia Society, Ottawa and Renfrew County.
