Lorne George French

Lorne George French passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 97. He was the devoted husband of Shirley, his lifelong love and constant companion of 72 years. Lorne was a proud and loving father to Joanne, a deeply devoted grandfather to Brandon and Brittany, and a great-grandfather to Lily, Olivia, Madeline, and Savannah. He is now predeceased by his brother, Don. Lorne was born on September 25, 1928, in Gaspé, Quebec. He had a distinguished 41-year career with Imperial Oil, serving as Manager of Investment Relations. Lorne is survived by his wife Shirley, daughter Joanne, grandchildren Brandon and Brittany, and great-grandchildren Lily, Olivia, Madeline, and Savannah.
