FRANK SEARS

Frank Sears passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, in his 83rd year, at the age of 82, at his home, lovingly surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Carmen, for 62 wonderful years. Frank was predeceased by his daughter, LeeAnne. He is survived by his devoted children, David (Robin), Chris, and Jason (Jennifer), and his cherished grandchildren, Marissa, Nicholas, Izzy, Tyler, Stacey, Sky, Corbin, Jaelyn, and Delilah. Frank was a journeyman pressman and was chairman for the union, building a respected career with many newspapers. He was promoted to press room supervisor until he retired from the Toronto Star. Beyond his professional life, he found peace at the cottage, where he spent many hours fishing and enjoying quiet nature. Frank was a devoted Toronto Maple Leaf fan. A man of deep faith, he was a proud member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Parish. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11 a.m., at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. A funeral reception will be held following the Mass in the parish hall. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
