ELIZABETH RUTH BRAY, Professor Emeritus at Ryerson University, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She will be dearly missed by Ruby and her human friends and family. Elizabeth was predeceased by her soulmate, Raye, in 2006, her brother, John, in 2023, and her eldest nephew, Stephen, in 2016. A private service will be held to honour her life, with a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date for close friends and family. Memorial donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes, The Canadian Wildlife Association, or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
