Virginia Trenholme Thompson

Virginia Trenholme Thompson of Port Hope, Ontario, died on August 4, 2026, at the age of 88. She was born on February 22, 1938. Predeceased by her parents, Robert L. Barbour and Eleanor Barbour, and her former husband Albert B. (Peter), she is survived by her children Henry (married to Jennifer), Amanda, Albert Schultz (married to Leslie) and Trent Thompson (married to Jamie); her grandchildren James (married to Emma), Julia, Emma, Gabriel, Clara Schultz and Gillian McEachern; and her siblings Robert L. Barbour Jr. and Cynthia Whitten. A celebration of life is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in St. John’s Anglican Church, 33 Pine St N, Port Hope, ON L1A 3G5.
