Michael Lindop

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Michael Lindop of Port Hope, Ontario. Michael was born on January 28, 1948, and he passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by his parents, John Lindop and Audrey Lindop. Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline Lindop; his children, Kathryn Johnson (John), Britton Lindop, Kristen Lindop, and Nicholas Lindop (Amanda Evans); and his grandchildren, Alexander Johnson, William Johnson, Jack, Cole, and Casey Lindop. He is also survived by his brothers, David Lindop (Audrey Grant) and Peter Lindop (Jane), as well as his sister-in-law, Jane Laurie (Laurie Mills). A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Port Hope Royal Canadian Legion, located at 29a Thomas St, Port Hope, ON L1A3V9. Donations may be made to Ed's House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre Foundation.
