Donald Gordon Hill
Donald Gordon Hill, born on May 29, 1934, passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 92. He is survived by his beloved wife Juanita, his children Michael (Nancy), Joe (Dianne), and Mary (Corey), as well as his grandchildren Jess Kentner (Mark), Jenn McGuire (Justin), Julie Walton (Gary), Gord Hill (Maggie), Damon Andrews (Kathy), and Scott Harron. Donald also leaves behind his great-grandchildren Logan, Nicholas, Lily, Evie, Gary Junior, William, Finn, Theo, Penny, and Mackenzie. He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon William Hill and Mary Louise Simmons. A funeral Mass will take place on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, located at 155 Walton St, Port Hope, ON. A burial will follow on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON. A memorial gathering will be held at the same location at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or a charity of your choice in his name.
