Michael John McLEOD

Michael John McLeod passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 74, with his family by his side at Norview Lodge. He was the loving partner and devoted husband of Bonnie for 59 precious years. Michael was a proud and loving father to Debbie, Denise, Marijean, John, and the late Dawn, and a cherished father-in-law to Peter. He will be dearly missed by his siblings Alan, John, Bernadine, Janet, Marty, and in-laws Ron and Judy. Michael was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary; his brother, Anthony; and his in-laws, Jean and Joe Wright. Michael spent his life working in the steelmaking industry, beginning at the age of 18 and continuing until he was 73. He worked as a melter foreman at Stelco, a career he truly enjoyed and took great pride in.
