Julius Fritz

Julius Fritz of Port Colborne, Ontario, died on August 1, 2026, at the age of 100. He was born on February 17, 1926. He was predeceased by his mother Pauline, his siblings Adolph, Ludwig, Gustav, Martha (Guhl), Friedholt, Helene and Helmut, and his daughter Sigrid Kramer. He is survived by his daughter Debbie Fritz (married to Lance Kovacs), his granddaughter Stephanie Kramer, his great‑grandchildren Heidi, Vivika and Tyson Barker, his niece Rose Loscher, as well as other nieces and nephews. Visitation took place on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Life Assembly, 484 Barrick Road, Port Colborne, followed by burial at Overholt Cemetery later that day. Memorial contributions may be directed to Christian Life Assembly.
