George HOLM passed away on February 7, 2026, in his 81st year. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease 7 years ago and fought a good fight. George came to Canada in 1976 to interview for a job as a Ticket Director for the Toronto Blue Jays. He spent 23 years with The Club, working his way up to Vice President of Stadium Operations and Tickets. He is survived by his loving wife Carole of 45 years. Brother-in-law of Ralph Caperchione (Jane Kemp), Lynn (Jim) Taylor, Linda (Scott) Macklem and Jody Holm of Clayton, Iowa. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his brother, Tom Holm; his parents, Stirling and Margaret Holm and also by family members Gail and Brian Rohe. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of George's Life will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. Memorial donations to Parkinson's Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
