George Alexander HENRY

George Alexander Henry passed away on April 7, 2026, at the age of 84, at the Welland Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Lillian and cherished father of Richard Henry, Wendy Scott and her husband Robert, and Joseph Henry and his wife Trisha. George was also a loving Papa of 10 grandchildren and a special G. Papa of 14 great-grandchildren. He was a dedicated and faithful Deacon in the Anglican Church and a committed member of the Port Colborne Community, where he served as a Scout Leader. George was a strong advocate for Community Living and served on the Board for many years. Along with his wife Lillian, he was a Foster Parent, welcoming over 95 children into their home. Cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church on April 16, 2026, at 1 p.m. The family extends their thanks to the staff in the Emergency Department at the Welland Hospital and the Nursing staff on the sixth floor, especially Nurse Lindy. Memorial donations to a Charity of Choice can be made in George's honor.
