Clyde Russel SHERK

Clyde Russel Sherk passed away peacefully at Portal Village on August 2, 2026, at the age of 100. He is survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Clyde was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Hattie Sherk, his sister Loma Doan, and brother-in-law Lorne Doan. Born in Sherkston, Clyde lived in the area all his life and worked as a salary administrator at John Deere for many years before retiring. He was a faithful member of Grace United Brethren Church and actively involved with Christian Endeavour. Clyde had a special fondness for Scottie dogs. The family extends gratitude to the staff at Portal Village for their care. Visitation will be held at Grace Church on August 8, 2026, followed by a service officiated by Pastor Elizabeth Cudney and burial at Overholt Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Grace Church of the United Brethren in Christ. Arrangements are entrusted to DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME.
