Claudette Marie Badawey

Claudette Marie Badawey of Port Colborne, Ontario, died on August 18, 2026, at the age of 81. She was born on July 6, 1945. Predeceased by her parents Philias and Juliette Cousineau, her sisters Nicole Buccilli (Carmen) and Theresa Punyi (Ernest), and her grandmother Claudette, she is survived by her husband George Wayne Badawey; her children Vance (Leanna), Wendy (Dave), Chad (Jen) and Tish; her sister Pauline Cousineau; her grandchildren Logan (Peter), Jordan (Josh), Tyler, Kyle, Jake (Jill), Matt (Joanna), Tori (Michael), Talon (Kessia), Zoey and Lexi; her great‑grandchildren Hudson, Harper, Charlotte and Ava Mae; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation was held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne, ON L3K 3G4. A funeral Mass took place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 123 King Street, Port Colborne, ON L3K 4G3. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice Niagara – Walker House in Welland.
