Catherine (Cathie) Isabel Anne GREEN

Catherine (Cathie) Isabel Anne Green passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on August 6, 1946, in the Niagara region, Cathie spent her childhood in Welland and Port Colborne, where she built her family and planted roots. She was the loving and devoted wife of Mike Green for 56 years, and together they created a home filled with warmth and laughter. Cathie was a proud and devoted mother to Shawna Green, Mike Green, and Barb Orosz, and a beloved sister to Leslie Porter. Her grandchildren, Kierra Martz-Green, Dan Orosz, and Jenna Orosz, were among her greatest treasures. Cathie dedicated 35 years to a career as a resource teacher with the DSBN, supporting children with special needs and their families. She is survived by her husband, Mike; children, Shawna, Mike, and Barb; grandchildren, Kierra, Dan, and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Greyson, Parker, Max, and Summer; and Rob's children, Hilary and Jeremy. Predeceased by her sister-in-law, Sue Smith. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Davidson Funeral Home.
