Carleen Cameron (nee Platz) JACKSON

Carleen Cameron Jackson (nee Platz) passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, at the age of 85. She was the beloved wife of the late Delbert Jackson, who predeceased her on July 21, 2013. Carleen is lovingly remembered by her children, Dale and his wife Dawn of Richwood, Wayne and his wife Marlene of Plattsville, Brian of Eganville, Carl and his wife Sandra of RR#4 Woodstock, and Shane of Denbeigh. She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Carleen is survived by her brother, Stanley Platz and his wife Elizabeth of Kingston. She was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Esther Platz, brothers Philip and Ken Platz, sisters Rebecca and Gertrude Stein and June Jackson, as well as her brothers-in-law, Gladys Platz, Molly Platz, Glen Hartman, Verner Stein, and Gord Jackson. Relatives and friends will be received in the Plattsville Chapel of the Glendinning Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in Chesterfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
