Leanne Mackenzie

Leanne Mackenzie passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton, at the age of 66. Born in Chatham, ON, Leanne grew up on her parents' tomato farm near Wallaceburg, ON. She was predeceased by her parents, Marion and Doug Rose. Leanne is survived by her husband, Andy, her children, Andrew (Drew) and Alex, her sister, Lauree, brother-in-law, Doug, brother, David, sister-in-law, Peggy, and many nieces and nephews. As per her wishes, there will be no service of remembrance. Leanne wanted to share that she lived a great life, had a lot of fun, met many wonderful people, and visited many beautiful places. She was a high school teacher and spoke in all 50 US States at least 3 times and all 10 Canadian Provinces, except Newfoundland. Leanne's final message to her children, Drew and Alex, was to continue being the extraordinary people they have become, to be themselves, and to be happy. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association and/or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
