Gerald Rutgers of Picton, Ontario, passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on September 18, 1931, he is predeceased by his wife, Rita 'Riekie'. Gerald is survived by his grandchildren: Mark, Kevin, Christy, Josh, Amber, Kane, Amelia, Lindley, Jonah, Augusta, Aaron, Kurt, and Derrick, along with their spouses, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Rushnell Funeral Homes - Picton, located at 33 Main St W, Picton, ON K0K2T0. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice Prince Edward.
