George Vaughan of Picton, Ontario, passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 54. He was born on January 30, 1972. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald Edward Vaughan and Shirley Mae Vaughan. He is survived by his siblings Elizabeth Brummell of Cherry Valley, Donald Vaughan Jr. of Stirling, and Jack Vaughan (married to Tresa) of Cressy, as well as his nephews Jody (partner Corinna), Stacy and Craig. A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Picton Elks Lodge, 21 Elks Street, Prince Edward, ON K0K2T0. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Picton Fire Fighters Association.
