David Melville Campbell passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. David M. Campbell and Rosalie Szammers Campbell; brother, Dr. John Campbell; sister, Claire Campbell Tomlinson; and partner, Robert Rawlings. He is survived by his sister, Rosalie Campbell Reese of Owen Sound. Born in Toronto in 1935, David spent his working years in that city before moving to Picton after retirement. A private family gathering will be held in the summer of 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations to The County of Prince Edward Public Library & Archives would be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to Rushnell Funeral Homes - Picton Chapel.
