Tuula Saunders

The family of Tuula Saunders announces her passing on August 28, 2026, in Picton, Ontario, at the age of 84. Born on January 1, 1942, Tuula was a beloved member of her community and cherished by many. She is predeceased by her brother, Jussi Hynonen. Tuula is survived by her husband, Ross; her children, Kimberley Corbet of Napanee and Erik Banks (Kieko Honda) of Kumano; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler, and Steven. She also leaves behind her brothers, Seppo Hynonen and Harri Hynonen, both of Finland, and her close friend, Hana Black (Tom) of Picton. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church are appreciated.
