Richard Blanchet

Richard Blanchet, born on July 29, 1948, passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by his mother Victoria (Fournier) of Saint-Pamphile, his sisters Gisèle, Aline, Thérèse and Jacinthe, and his brother Clermont. Survivors include his wife Claire; his sons Jocelyn and Sébastien; his grandchildren Mia, Von, Luc and Rio; his siblings Danielle, Jeannette (married to Jacques), Lucie (married to Gilles), Robert (married to Noëlla), Rolland (married to France) and Roméo (married to Francine); his daughters‑in‑law Anna‑Maria Yaroshuk and Anna‑Renée Blanchet; his brothers‑in‑law Pauline, Nicole, Paul and Sylvain; and his godson Jonathan. A commemorative service was held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church, 1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering, Ontario L1V 1J6.
