William John SCOTT

William John Scott passed away at the age of 80 on May 4, 2026, after a long and courageous battle from a stroke on December 25, 2023. He was surrounded by the love of his family before peacefully passing. John was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Helen, whom he dearly missed, as well as his parents, Bill and Mary, and brother-in-law, Bob Blackshaw. He is survived by his children, Mark, Steven, and Melissa, and his grandchildren, Morgan, Rylan, and Trevor. John is also survived by his brother, Doug, and his wife, Chris, and his niece, Susan. A memorial visitation will be held at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Tuesday, May 12, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. A service will be held at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Wednesday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. A private interment at Little Lake Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and the PRHC Foundation.
