William Davis

William Davis passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at the age of 93, in Peterborough Regional Hospital, surrounded by his wife Joan, son Kelly, and daughter-in-law Heather. Born on October 30, 1932, in Peterborough, Bill spent most of his life in the city. He was the devoted husband of Joan for 66 years and a proud father to Kelly and the late Cindy. Bill was a cherished grandfather to Olivia and Marlow and brother to the late Nelson and Tom. With over 35 years of service at Raybestos, Bill was known for his strong work ethic. He was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly passionate about the Peterborough Petes, and enjoyed visiting the gym as a 57-year YMCA member. Bill also appreciated winter visits to Florida. He will be remembered for his steady presence, strong work ethic, love of family, and loyalty to the Petes. Bill is survived by Joan, Kelly, Heather, Olivia, Marlow, and many nieces and nephews. The family is grateful for the care Bill received from the palliative care unit and staff. Visitation will be held at Highland Park Funeral Centre on July 30th, followed by a Memorial Service and reception. Interment will take place at Little Lake Cemetery. Donations may be made to Hospice, Peterborough Regional Hospital, or a charity of choice.
