William Curtis Abbott

William Curtis Abbott of Peterborough, Ontario, passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 89. He was born on May 31, 1937. William was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn Abbott; his parents, Stanley Herbert and Beatrice Abbott; and his brother, Ron (Nel). He is survived by his siblings, Jim (Bea), Doug (late Mary-Ann), Carolyn Abbott (Bunny), and Darlene Doris (late Jim); his daughters, Karen Abbott of Peterborough and Cheryl Wilgus (Andy) of Medicine Hat, Alberta; his grandchildren, Matthew and Maegan; and his great-grandchildren, Addison, Reid, Sawyer, Harper, Drew, and Knox. He is also remembered by his close friend, Carol Perley, and friends Sanjay and Ruthie Moher, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Bill's Home. In memory of Bill, the family appreciates donations to the Peterborough Legion Br.52 or a charity of your choice.
