Tore Astrom

The family of Tore Astrom of Peterborough, Ontario, announces his passing on September 25, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on January 23, 1930, Tore is fondly remembered by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was predeceased by his wife, Janette Astrom; his parents, Erik Albert and Hanna Katarina; his brother, Arne (Esther); and his niece, Ann. Tore is survived by his children, Mark Astrom (Sara), Andrew Astrom (Tammie), and Julie Astrom (Mike Wood), as well as his nephew, Anders Astrom. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice. Tore's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
