Shirley Elizabeth (nee Kerr) JACKSON

Shirley Elizabeth Jackson (nee Kerr) passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Windsor, Ontario on July 1, 1937, to James Kerr and the former Margaret Robinson, Shirley was predeceased by her husband Alex in April 2018, after 60 plus years of marriage, and by an infant son, David, in 1960. She is survived by her children, Steven (Sandra) of Manotick, Ontario, Colleen Ketcheson (the late Dwain, 2020) of St. Catherines, Ontario, and Samuel, as well as three grandchildren, Felicia and Edward Ketcheson and Nicholas Jackson, and a great-grandson, Jasper Ketcheson. Cremation has taken place and interment will occur at a later date in Victoria Memorial Cemetery, Oldcastle, Ontario (Windsor), where she will be reunited with Alex and David. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peterborough Zoo in memory of Alex and Shirley.
