Ruth Adel Cooper

Ruth Adel Cooper (née Clysdale) died peacefully on August 13, 2026, at the age of 84. She was the devoted wife of Delmer Cooper for 64 years, mother of Denton (Bev) and Lynn, and grandmother of Courtney (Jesse Spencley). Ruth also cherished her role as great‑grandmother to Dakota. She is survived by her sisters Betty (married to Eric Drain) and Joyce (married to Tom Deen), her in‑laws Betty and Richard Douglas, Diann Cooper, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ivan and Florence Clysdale, and by her in‑laws Royden and Zelda Cooper, Earl and Doreen Cooper, and Ernie Cooper, she leaves a legacy of family ties. Arrangements are with Hendren Funeral Homes – Lakefield Chapel, and a private family inurnment will occur at St. Mark's Cemetery in Warsaw.
