Roy Gallagher

Roy Gallagher of Peterborough, Ontario, passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 71. He was born on October 15, 1954. He was predeceased by his wife Judy Gallagher and his parents Maurice (Mike) and Ruby Gallagher. He is survived by his brothers Terry Gallagher, whose spouse is LeeAnn, and Ross Gallagher, whose spouse is Debbie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, their families, and other extended relatives. Visitation took place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Nisbett Funeral Home, 600 Monaghan Road, Peterborough, ON. A memorial service was held at the same location from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m., followed by an inurnment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens, 2551 Whittington Drive, Peterborough, ON, from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Parkinson's Canada, the Kawartha Lakes Humane Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
