Ronald William Francis Brown

Ronald William Francis Brown was born on November 6, 1947, and died on August 6, 2026, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by his wife Janet Ethel Marie Brown, his parents William and Ruth Brown, and his siblings Wayne R. Brown, Lawrence R. Brown and Marilyn R. Brown. He is survived by his children Jason Brown (married to Catherine McLenaghan) of Ottawa and Shannon Kurz (married to Jason Kurz) of Peterborough, his grandchildren Trinity and Charity Kurz, and his brother Royal Walter Brown (married to Karen) of Ottawa, as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Visitation took place on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Comstock‑Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, ON. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Peter, 411 Reid Street, Peterborough, ON, followed by a reception from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the same Comstock‑Kaye location. Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter‑in‑Chains R.C.C., and condolences may be posted at the memorial website.
