Robert Thomas Valentine Simpson (Bob)

Robert 'Bob' Thomas Valentine Simpson passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of the late Colleen Simpson and is lovingly remembered by his common-law partner, Trudy Firth-Marshall. Bob is survived by his daughter Heather Lowry and her husband William, and their children: Dorraine, Jess, Melissa and her husband Reyn, Tracey, Alana, and Breann and her husband Axel; and by his son Robert Simpson and his wife Kristy, and grandson Connor. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, family members, and friends. A celebration of life will be held at Trinity United Church in Hastings on June 6, 2026, at 1pm. The family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family.
