Robert David "Bob" BLACK

Robert David 'Bob' Black passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, at the age of 85, in Peterborough, Ontario. Born on January 22, 1941, to Alexander Black and Mae Black, Bob shared 49 years of marriage with his wife Sandra 'Sam' Black. He was predeceased by his parents, son Scott Andrew Black, and siblings John 'Jack' Black, Alma McGregor, Jean Scott, and Helen Crampton. Bob is survived by his children David, James, Carol, and Kristy, and his grandchildren Alexander, Emily, Brianna, Zoey, and Kaleb. He will also be missed by his brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Bob had a successful career at Trent Metals Ltd., where he became part of the ownership group. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed building relationships and entertaining others. Bob will be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and his faithful dog, Bentley.
