Robert David (Bob) BLACK

Robert David Black, known to many as Bob, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, at the age of 85, in Peterborough, Ontario. Born on January 22, 1941, to Alexander Black and Mae Black, Bob spent 49 wonderful years of marriage with his wife Sandra Black. He was predeceased by his parents, son Scott Andrew Black, and siblings John Black, Alma McGregor, Jean Scott, and Helen Crampton. Bob is survived by his children David, James, Carol, and Kristy, as well as his grandchildren Alexander, Emily, Brianna, Zoey, and Kaleb. He will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Bob had a successful career at Trent Metals, Ltd., where he worked his way up to become part of the ownership group. He enjoyed golfing at PGCC, telling stories, and spending time with his dog, Bentley. Funeral arrangements are being handled by ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE.
