Robert "Bob" Neil MILES
Robert 'Bob' Neil Miles passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 79, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Patricia Miles, and their children, Blair Miles and his wife Margaret Stuart, and Darrell Miles. Robert was a devoted grandfather of Dana MacKenzie and her husband Brad MacPherson, and a cherished great-grandfather of Fathera MacPherson. He is also survived by his sister Francis Alldred and her husband Brian, sisters-in-law Nancy Bedford and her husband Dan, and Bonnie Zeran and her husband Sterling, and brother-in-law Tom McIlmoyl and his wife Lori Pettersone. Robert was predeceased by his father Archie Miles, his mother Winona Miles, and his brothers Fraser Miles and Wayne Miles. During his career, Robert worked as a welder and fitter for General Electric for 41 years. He enjoyed various hobbies, including hunting, fishing, and playing guitar. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 29, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Norwood Legion. Memorial donations may be made to Peterborough Regional Health Centre - ICU or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
