Perry Gummerson

The family of Perry Gummerson announces his passing on September 16, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on August 25, 1948, Perry was a beloved husband to Bonnie and a devoted father to his daughters, Cheryl Whalen (John), Cathy Babcock (Paul), and Jennifer Garnett. He also cherished his stepdaughters, Angela Flood (Jim) and Melissa Pollock (Andrew). Perry was a proud grandfather to Timothy, Lily, Steffan, Brittney, Alexis, Mackenzie, Kaitlyn, Sara, Hailey, Ashlee, Morgan, and Lincoln, and a great-grandfather to Lilly. He is survived by his brother, Peter Gummerson (Doris). A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Highland Park Cemetery, located at 2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
