Norma Cooke

Norma Cooke of Peterborough, Ontario, was born on August 13, 1926, and died on August 2, 2026, at the age of 99. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest Albert Cooke and her sister Ora Freeburn. She is survived by her children Ralph Cooke (married to Sharlene), Murray Cooke and Lynn Cooke (married to Marco D'Ercole); her grandchildren Kimberly Cooke, Valerie Grills (married to Gord), Bridgette D'Ercole and Marc Ezio D'Ercole; and her great‑grandchildren Amy and Weston. Visitation took place on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Northminster United Church, 300 Sunset Blvd, Peterborough, ON. A funeral service was held at the same location at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at Little Lake Cemetery, 915 Haggart St, Peterborough, ON. The family requests that donations be made to Northminster United Church or the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society in her memory.
