Nancy Eileen THAKE

Nancy Eileen Thake, a retired registered nurse, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the age of 82. She was the beloved wife of the late Don Thake and a devoted mother to Allison (Shane), Steven (Caroline) and Paul, as well as a cherished grandmother to Lauren and Quinn Bradley and Andrew and Owen Thake. Nancy was predeceased by her sister Janie Varey. Survivors include her sister Barb McCorkell, brother Roly Foster (Deb), sisters‑in‑law Glady Thake (Wayne, deceased), Ardelle Thake (Dave, deceased), Doug, and Marilyn Bisson (John, deceased), along with numerous nieces and nephews. In accordance with her wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held. The family requests that, if desired, donations be made in her memory to the Cancer Care Clinic at PRHC, Hospice Peterborough, or to a charity of the family's choosing. They also extend gratitude to the Cancer Care Clinic at PRHC, the Palliative Care Team—especially Dr. Emily Hughes—and the staff of St. Elizabeth Health Care.
