Mrs. Barbara Jean Hill (Barb)

Barbara Jean Hill, peacefully passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 93, with her family by her side at Hospice Peterborough. She was the beloved wife of the late Claire Hill and loving mother of Lori Hill, Todd Hill, Scott Hill, and Linda Coons. Barb was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to many. She was predeceased by her sisters, Shirley and Lois. Barb was a devoted member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church and a long-time employee of the Public School Board, where she worked as a driving instructor and secretary until the age of 81. She was also a skilled seamstress, knitter, and Blue Jays fan. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Becca Webster, PRHC, and Hospice Peterborough for their compassionate care and support during Barb's final days.
