Miriam Stroud

Miriam Stroud of Peterborough, Ontario, passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on July 9, 1941, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Miriam is survived by her husband, Thomas Stroud (Tom); her children, Carolyn (Blaine), Dee, and Eric (Tanya); her stepchildren, Jeff, Peter (Jessie), Rebecca (Lance), and Nathaniel; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Colin, Piper, Shaela, Maya, Oliver, Charlotte, and Rosalie. She is also remembered by her sisters, Sheila (Frank) and Heather (Ken), along with numerous nephews and special cousins. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, located at 99 Brock St, Peterborough, ON K9H2P2. In lieu of flowers, donations in Miriam's memory may be made to St. John's Anglican Church Parish, Breakthrough T1D (JDRF), or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
