Mary Jane Bickell

The family of Mary Jane Bickell of Peterborough, Ontario, announces her passing on October 19, 2026. Born on June 18, 1950, Mary is remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was predeceased by her husband, Ted Bickell; her brother, John McWilliams (Kim); and her parents, Patricia and Joseph McWilliams. Mary is survived by her daughters, Susanne Williams (Mark) and Katie Bickell (Angel); her grandchildren, Zachary, Carter, Preston, Sofia, and Anika; and her brothers, Dan McWilliams (Virginia), Jim McWilliams, Michael McWilliams (Charmaine), and Peter McWilliams (Vickie). She is also survived by her cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, located at 300 Wilson St, Peterborough, ON K9J1T2. A reception will follow at 12:30 PM at the Highland Reception Centre, 2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J1C5. An entombment will take place at the Columbarium at St. John the Baptist. Donations may be made to Hospice Peterborough or The Salvation Army in her memory.
