Mary Elizabeth McKeiver (née Walsh), born October 6, 1931, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Extendicare Peterborough on May 11, 2026, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her parents, Marie (née Dooher) and Daniel Walsh, her brothers, Hugh (Mary Rose) and Desmond (Joan) Walsh, and her nephew Daniel Walsh, as well as her brother-in-law Eugene and Bill. Mary shared a devoted and loving marriage of 61 years with her beloved husband, George. Together they built a life grounded in faith and created a home filled with warmth and enduring support for their family. Mary was the loving mother of Katie (Bruce) Robertson and Elizabeth (Michael) Moore, and cherished Nana of Jessica (Luc) Jobin, Andrew, (Rose), Hannah (Jared), and Emma Robertson, and Tristan and Jane Moore. She was also a proud great-Nana to Sophie, Melodie, Jacques, Aimée, and Charlotte Jobin. Mary will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and their families. She was the dear sister-in-law of Mary (Bill predeceased) Connolly, Camilla (Jim) Hickson, Carl (Mary) McKeiver, and Sharon (Eugene predeceased) McKeiver. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mary's Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Douro, on Thursday May 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery followed by a light luncheon in St. Joseph's Parish Hall. In memory of Mary, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.
