Mary Ann "Ginny" (nee Curran) GOSSELIN

Mary Ann 'Ginny' Gosselin, daughter of the late Majorie (Sarah) Witcufsky and Patrick William Curran, passed away on June 21, 2026. She was the beloved and devoted wife of Leon Thomas, who predeceased her on January 26th/25, after 73 years of marriage. Mary Ann is survived by her children, Nancy and Janis, as well as her sister-in-law Ruth Gosselin and several nieces and nephews in Peterborough, Port Hope, and Ottawa. She was predeceased by her daughter Karen in 1998. Mary Ann was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, and her home was filled with joy, laughter, and unconditional love. She began her career at Bell Canada at the age of 16 and remained there until her retirement. Mary Ann was also an avid golfer and talented painter. She is adored by her granddaughter Sondra Gatien, and great-grandchildren Leon Spirito and Anastasia Amaro. Interment will be held at a later date at Little Lake Cemetery in Peterborough. In memory of Mary Ann, donations may be made to the MS Society of Ontario, Diabetes Canada, or the Peterborough Humane Society. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Chapel Hill Retirement Residence, Ottawa, and a special note of thanks to Dr. Elie Skaff for his kind care.
