Martin Kerry Watkins

Martin Kerry Watkins of Peterborough, Ontario, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on June 1, 1959, Martin lived a life surrounded by family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Leverda Watkins; his sister, Julie; his in-laws, Myles and Gertrude Huddlestone; his cousin, Erica McNevin; his nephew, Ryan Huddlestone; and his aunts and uncles, Lloyd (Dorothy), Beaulah Crockett (William), Vivian Griffith (Cyril), Charlotte Maxi (Arthur), Clarence, Claude, James, and Renard Murray. Martin is survived by his wife, Charlene; his siblings, David (Kim), Abby (Craig), and Pearl (Habib); his uncle, Dorrie Murray; his in-laws, Gary (Debbie), Byrd, William (Sharon), Edward Huddlestone, and Janice Whatman (Rick); and his close friend, Barry Doner (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Nisbett Funeral Home, located at 600 Monaghan Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J5H9. Following the service, a memorial gathering took place from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Rosemount Memorial Gardens, 2551 Whittington Dr, Peterborough, ON K9J0G5, with a reception from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
