Marina P Puffer-Butland

Marina P Puffer-Butland passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025. She was the loving wife of James (Jim) Butland, who predeceased her in 2018. Through her marriage to Jim, she became a stepmother to Darren, Jennifer, and Kim, and a step-grandmother to Matt, Ryan, Grace, Isabella, Alyssa, and Joshua, as well as a great-grandmother to Jackson and James. Marina was the daughter of Russell and Mabel Puffer, and sister to Ralph, Mildred, and Doreen, all of whom predeceased her. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Marina had a distinguished teaching career, and was particularly passionate about music. A Memorial Reception celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, June 15th, between 2 and 4 p.m. at Ashburnham Funeral Home, followed by a Service at 3 p.m. and Words of Remembrance. Donations in her memory can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation.
