Loretta Bernadette (née O'Brien) PARODY

Loretta Bernadette Parody, née O'Brien, passed away peacefully at Lakefield Extendicare on July 15, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on July 4, 1937, in Dublin, Ireland, she was the beloved wife of Arthur, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage. Loretta was a devoted mother to Susan, Alex, and Josephine, a proud grandmother to Oliver, Mason, and Harrison, and a loving great-grandmother to Genevieve and Callum. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Loretta had a fulfilling career in Toronto's financial district and enjoyed sketching, painting, and travelling in her retirement. A Celebration of Loretta's Life will be held in the fall, with details to be announced later. The family extends their gratitude to the team at Lakefield Extendicare for their care and compassion.
