Lois STROME

Lois Marie Strome passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 81, surrounded by the love of family and the peace of God's promises. Born on August 3, 1944, to Knowlton Albert Wright and Lilly Marie Wright (Ireland), Lois grew up on the family farm in Wallbridge, Ontario, alongside her protective older brother Charlie Wright (Helen). She is survived by her loving husband, David Milton Strome, and her four children, Cheryl Holdsworth (David), Stephen Strome (Johanne), Susan Nokes (Ted), and Sharon Hubble (Mark). Lois is also survived by her cherished ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, with one more on the way, as well as her extended family and many dear friends. Lois was predeceased by her parents. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 11, at the Belleville Calvary Community Church at 679 Dundas St. West in Belleville at 11:00 a.m., with visitation prior to the service from 10:00-10:45. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ERDO (Emergency Relief and Development Overseas) or Peterborough Pregnancy Support Services. Arrangements are entrusted to Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Road.
